RRB Railway Level-1 (Group D) Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2025

Computer Based Test (CBT)

All eligible candidates must appear for a Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). The CBT will be held on the scheduled date, time, and venue mentioned in the e-call letter (admit card). Candidates can download the e-call letter from the respective RRB/RRC websites, and updates will also be sent to the registered email ID.

90 Minutes for general candidates
120 Minutes for PwBD candidates using a scribe

Negative Marking

1/3 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Minimum Qualifying Marks

In case of non-availability of sufficient PwBD candidates, the qualifying marks may be relaxed by 2 marks for PwBD candidates.

Second Stage CBT

If a Second Stage CBT is conducted, the Railway Administration may treat the First Stage CBT as a qualifying test only, to shortlist an appropriate number of candidates for the next stage.
