CTET Eligibility Criteria 2025–26
CTET Primary Level (Class I to V)
Candidates must fulfill any one of the following conditions:
- Senior Secondary (10+2) with 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year D.El.Ed
- Senior Secondary (10+2) with 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year D.El.Ed (as per NCTE 2002 norms)
- Senior Secondary (10+2) with 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.El.Ed
- Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed
(B.Ed candidates must complete a 6-month Bridge Course recognized by NCTE within two years of appointment)
Relaxation: Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC/PwD, etc.) get up to 5% relaxation in qualifying marks.
CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII)
Candidates must fulfill any one of the following conditions:
- Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year D.El.Ed
- Graduation with 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of B.Ed
- Graduation with 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed (as per NCTE norms)
- Senior Secondary (10+2) with 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed
Relaxation: Reserved category candidates are eligible for up to 5% relaxation in marks.
